Ensuring standards are adhered to
During the build I am on site most days to ensure your vision is realized. As the designer I ensure current best practise standards are adhered to and that the finished trail is safe, fun and sustainable. Not only do I supervise, advise and direct the contractor, but I also work with him to ensure he is happy with the specification and to help solve any unforeseen ground problems.
Checking "the flow"
During critical parts of the build such as shaping jumps/berms or working through trickier rock features, I will handwork with the team ensuring the work is completed to my satisfaction. A crucial component is that I ride the trails as they are built, tweaking the trail if required to ensure it flows just right.
